Give our best wishes to the believers in Laodicea and to Nympha and the church that meets in her house.

Why should I join a Home Group?

To answer this question, just a little background:

The idea of a home group is not a new one. Even in the bible we read that that is how the early church originally met. In the book of Acts we read how Christianity spread across the Mediterranean. Believers and communities sprang up in many cities. Paul wrote in his letters that people met in houses.

What are the benefits of joining a home group?

1) It enables us to connect to the people in our community on a more personal level.

2) Group study enables added growth in one’s efforts to become more Christ-like.

3) It assists us to grow in love for one another, the way Jesus loves us

4) It energises us to contribute to the work of the church.

5) It is an added opportunity to glorify God.

6) We learn to disciple where we are on an everyday basis… and ultimately to all nations.

In short you must join a home group because...

...I have set an example for you, so that you will do just what I have done for you.

John 13:15

I send greetings to Priscilla and Aquila, my fellow workers in the service of Christ Jesus; they risked their lives for me. I am grateful to them—not only I, but all the Gentile churches as well. Greetings also to the church that meets in their house.
